Demand Outlook 2007 - 2015
Ontario is becoming a summer peaking region. Since the late 1990s there has been a significant increase in cooling load as air conditioning has become common in Ontario. Growth in energy demand has not been consistent across all seasons. Winter energy demand has averaged annual growth of 0.7% while summer energy demand has averaged growth of 1.3% per annum.
